October.
And the trees are stripped bare
Of all they wear.
What do I care?
October.
And kingdoms rise,
And kingdoms fall,
But you go on, and on.
11 seems like an awful lot for one month.
It is, but that's British football for you these days. As poor old Mr. Jol found out, a decent track record in recent seasons accounts for little, seemingly.
It's a shame, but for all the money spent on the squad, they cannot afford or accept the slow starts to the season. They have some fine young pieces, but need a manager to focus the squad and cut away some of the deadwood. I think Spurs will be better for it.
