Would have loved to have been at the Wrexham/Arsenal match.
see Havant and Waterlooville are taking 400 fans to Swansea tomorrow....
Chris (b squad) - The atmosphere looked pretty electric just watching it on TV! Funny - Tony Adams doesn't remember it with any great fondness...
Good for the H&W fans, Keving. I can't see them getting a result tomorrow, but they've done brilliantly just to get this far.
Other than ManU being shocked by Eastwood's free kick, I can't remember another eventual prem winner being eliminated by a lower league side. Freddy Eastwood will always have a special place thanks to that one.
You left out the biggest upset of them all...Walsall 2 Arsenal 0 back in 1932-33. In those days Arsenal were regarded as the greatest football side in the world, and famously their boots cost more than the entire Walsall team! As David and Goliath scenarios go, this game is still regarded by football historians as the granddaddy of all Cup upsets.
I must admit, I wasn't aware of that one Rob. I can imagine that would have been big news back in the day... thanks for bringing it to our attention!
